Journal 39: Christmas Holiday

            Christmas is a holiday which Wu's families don't celebrate, but we are glad that there are vocation for us.  I don't think Christmas is that important to us and we don't celebrate it, because there is no room for Christmas tree in my house. Also we don't eat big meal during Christmas, maybe a bread bought from seven-eleven is big enough for us. We also don't have gifts during Christmas because we don't celebrate it, my grandparents don't even think about Christmas, all they think is important is Chinese New Year, so we don't have presents during Christmas. But in Wu's family we seem Chinese New Year very important, which we get big meals and lot of red envelope, and Chinese New Year is my favorite festival. We don't celebrate Christmas because my parents think it is not a important festival. In Taiwan, there is very few people who celebrate Christmas, also parents, they don't have vacation on work during Christmas, so we don't get to celebrate together and it become worthless, but Chinese New Year, there are vacation for workers and the workers can spend their time with their family. I think Christmas not important to me because it doesn't force me have to do something and I am happy about the school has vacation on Christmas. Local School also have vacation during winter, but they have it not because to celebrate Christmas but other reasons. The only reason I support Christmas is that PAS have vacation on Christmas.

Journal Entry 38: Mars

             Mars, a a planet, I don't really know about it, only heard of some rumors about mars. Like people found there are living things on Mars. Mars might not have living resources, but Earth has a lot. There are no water, sea in mars, so people will live together because there is no separation between people. Mars might have different resources that human can't use. If all the rumors they make is true, like grass, water on mars. Compare to the Earth today, they are cleaner than our planet. That is why we try to observe other planet, so we can live there one day. If Earth is down, human might move to mars. Human move to mars because their planet was ruined, almost ruin by them. Now humans still can't go to Mars, because it's too far away from us. We don't have enough fuel, water and food for the spaceship and astronaut. People say it will took three years just to go to Mars, Coming back took another three  year. There is not enough fuel and resources. If there are other living things than human on Mars. We might have war with them and they might win, cause they have ray gun and we have nuclear weapon. When people see mars, they can only see a ball made with rock, that is why human is still deciding weather live on Mars or not.

Journal Entry 37: Setting and Plot.

            If it's in 2005, the world might be peaceful and the friend that was on the beach is happy, because people don't fight each other anymore. It cause peaceful to the world, the person might be happy on the beach playing with people. The weather must be warm , and the area must be clean. The friend in England , that was from 100 year ago, people might have war these days. People lived in war zone and most of them were poor. If a setting is different the even in the story must be different. Like if you are set in the old days, you must not have a cell phone, because it's not invented yet. Also you can't say a person is sweating, if the setting is in North Pole, so it's very weird. One example of the story, if the three little pigs in the story, the big pig brother want to build a grass house, but he found out his setting is in North Pole, it is also impossible to say that the second pig want to build a tree house but he found himself at a desert, it's impossible. The setting of a story can change the event in the story. Your story setting and event have to match in order to make the story readable and sensible. When people write a story they should think of setting first than they could make their events, so they don't make that much mistake when they write.

Journal Entry 36: Writing is Difficult

          I think writing is difficult for me because I personal don't like writing, because it took a long time. Writing is very hard for me because my grammar suck and everything I wrote is trash or garbage. People say reading can affect how good you write, but I don't read, I never read any English written book. It's very hard for me to finish a book. When I read, I felt asleep after reading the first page, that is why I don't like reading, and it also means i don't like writing at all. Also writers need to have good hand writing so people will read what you write, for me I have very ugly hand writing and people blinded when they see my hand writing. Also I am not good at writing, because when you tell me to write something, it will took me weeks to finish it. If it's a essay, I might think should I do it or not. When I grow up, I rather picking trash selling gum at the train station rather being a writer. If I am a writer, no one will want to read my project, which i will get starve to death because i don't know how to write. People always do something that we think it's difficult, because they want to challenge themselves, which is a retarded way. They trying to act good in front of the adults and gets award, they are fact and stupid. Which I never do, I do something I can, I never cross my limit.

Journal Entry 34: Irony

            When people have very good life, everything is convenient, I think the reason people still want war because they are jealous and they want more good stuff. They rub other country and trying to get more from that country. Or the other reasons are that two countries are competing, they are trying to find which country has better people, and better resources etc. They will get into fight, which is war, and trying to destroy other country to be better. Later on it might lead to world war, cause all country in the world trying to prove they are the best and the country doesn't want to be involve was force to, other wise they will bomb your country. I feel really ironic because when all the people in the world has no problem on living, and they are trying to find trouble for themselves. If people do not have war, I think the world will be better. All people will hang out together and there are no argument. In these days, I think there might not have war going on except for some small countries' conflict. People used negotiate instead of fighting with guns and weapons, which is more polite and doesn't hurt both countries. War can cause lot of problem cause war makes separation between families. It also cause economic fall, because country spend all money on war stuffs. That is why I don't like war and people should not use war to solve problem. 

Journal Entry 33: My Invention

            If I have chance to invent something, I got the money and resources. I will want to build something that provide any foods. It can be a robot shapes, or a machine, but I think robot is more cool. The robot can move around and you can call him when you need them. The function will be that you can order any food you want. You can talk to the robot and he will provide foods. The food will come out from the robot's stomach, the stomach part of the robot will open and there is the food. You can also make new food out of it, as long as you can describe them. You can say I want a noodle with some marshmallow and some hot sauces. The robot can provide any kinds of food, as long you can describe them. The other invention I want to invention I want to invent is a machine that can put you shirt and pants on, which it is very awesome to have cause a lot people worried about what they are going to wear today and they are lazy when they put their clothes on. The machine will be shape like a tube and you can see inside. Beside there is a small computer and you can set your clothes set to the machine. You can chose some shirts and put them together and save them into the machine. Next time you just have to walk into the tube and click start button and the shirt will be cloth on your body. That is the two machines that I want to invent if I can invent.

Journal Entry 32: Modern Technology

             I think what the world will happen after a hundred years from now, it would be very convenient I guess. Maybe we don't have to work to live, because we might not need money because it becomes so easy to get anything we want. Maybe by the time come, the robots will be invented, which can solve lots of problems. They can do things such as cooking, house keeping, or even work for us. Robot sometimes can be too smart and they start fighting back, like in those movies, the robots attack the humans because they start to think why they are obeying humans. Other things like transportation, maybe we don't need gasoline cars anymore, because humans have invent something that don't need gasoline and can travel faster and longer. Maybe we don't even need cars, we could have teleporter, we can teleport to anywhere we want, which save times and safer. For communication, now, people invent phones for us, so we don't have to talk to a person without visiting them. Right now people are inventing the cellphones's chips smaller and smaller. Maybe in the future, our cellphone could be located anywhere we want, such as watch, glasses or even your wallet. One day you can talk to your friend if you have your watch with you, which is very convenient. So people invent stuffs for us to make life better, we can get cool stuff because of them, we should give a big thanks to those inventor which changed our lives.

Journal Entry 31: Compare and contrast Dogs

            The two animals I want to compare are two dos that was kept in my grandmother's house. One of them is call Bucky and the other one is call Jeremy. they are different gender, Bucky is a female and Jeremy is a male. Whenever I got home the one that will come to me and start jumping around was Bucky, but Jeremy was always quiet. He always lie down at the corner and just stay there. He never play with us, I think his original owner treat him badly, or he missed his original owner. Sometimes I think Bucky might be too energetic and annoying because he will keep jumping around and he will not get any tired. He will keep chasing you and sometimes he will even jump on you. Bucky and Jeremy are same type of dog, but Jeremy always stay in the corner and even during night time. He would rather stay in the dark cold corner and not go back to the cage to sleep. Sometimes Bucky barked a lot and annoy people, but Jeremy never barks and he is too quiet. People may have problem about him. Also, Bucky will play with it owner like me or other family members, he is very loyalty and he will bark to someone that he never met or etc. Jeremy was too quiet, stay in the corner and he doesn't care anyone walking beside him. I sometimes feel sad for him because he keep staying there without moving. Sometimes Bucky will run around and sometimes he will run outside the home and we have to sue the food and his favorite toy to get him back to the cage.

Journal Entry 30: Thanksgiving

          First I want to thank is my parents because they give me what I need. They gave me the best education and hoped that I would have a great future. Sometimes they yell at me because I didn't behave. I think sometimes I got yell at, but I am innocent. That is the first thing I want to thank. Second thing I wanted to thank it's my computer. My computer provided me information on homework. It also provided games for me to play when I'm bored. My parents always want to take away my computer, but I feel really sad. Sometimes computer can help me do homework fast and neatly. Like I can do homework by typing which is faster and the words is more neatly. Third thing I want to thank it's my bed. My bed gives me best comfortable feeling when I lie down. Sometimes it make me think a lot when I lie on my bed. When I woke up in the morning, I never want to leave my ed because I really want to stay on my bed. Also it makes me feel safe when I hide under my blanket. Top three are what I want to thank, because it provide me best area of living.

Journal Entry 29: Heroes Revisited

            My electronic dictionary say that a hero means " A person, especially a man, who is admired by many people for doing something brave or good." I think this one might be wrong because hero can be any gender but not especially man, I think that parts should be taken away. Also I think what could add on it should be the hero do not only do something brave or good, they could also do sacrifice. When someone was in an emergency, they would go up and save those people but he died at the end. People will think he/she will be a hero. The internet dictionary say the a hero means "a person admired for bravery, great achievements, or good qualities". I think this one is much better but still quite missing something. It does say all gender, but I think that there is one parts that it could be improve was that if they can add something about the hero's personality and what did they do to become an hero, basically I hope this definition could be more descriptive I think this definition is good enough, at least better than the previous one. I will prefer  definition number 2, because it basically talk about basic meaning of hero. I also found a different definition from "dictionary.com" "it means " a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities." I think what could be take away from this definition is the noble qualities, a hero doesn't have to be rich. Like Harriet Tubman, she was not rich, but people still call her as a hero. Also it's doesn't have to be a man, it could be woman too.

Journal Entry 28: Great, Old Knowledge

            The story " In Trouble ", Paulsen say the dogs' had great, old knowledge; they had something we had lost. I think it means that human and animal had different knowledge. Also human and dog had very different skills, actually what we can do the dog can also do it. The dog had knowledge because they are smart and they are loyalty. Their great, old knowledge were they lick the parts that is injure, they had great smells, they are loyal to their master. I think that what we had lost is humanity, because we keep killing animal around for meats and we are not kind to other animals. I think that the old knowledge was that all they have survival instinct, they will try anything to live longer. They also can sense danger, like some animal will do certain reaction when there will be accident going on. Like when it going to rain, the swallow will fly very close to the ground and that means later it will rain. People found out that some animal had this sense that human can not learn, but human invented technology to find out what the weather will be like. Sometimes animal has it own skills on anything for it own living. Some animal could use special skills to hunt pray that other animal couldn't learn. Human could go to seven-eleven to buy what they needed, what happen if some day the world runs out of technology. I bet that the animal will live longer than human because they had natural skills.

Journal Entry 27: Animal v Human

            I think that animals can walk and live like human and the world might not have poluted, but their personality won't change. Like tiger or lion, they don't eat anything but meat, like horse or cow they only eat grass. You can see animal in zoo, forest. In the zoo the animal all are lazy sleeping. Tiger and lion don't catch animal anymore, because they get food everyday without hunting. They get lazy and lazier, the animal will lost it personality and natural skill if they always stay in the zoo. Some animals had feeling too, like dog or cat, I mean dog is the one that you keep as a pet, not the one on the street. As you treat them well, your pet will have feeling on you, they will think that you are part of his family or friend. Sometimes when you are sad, your dog will come to you and they will try to cheer you up, and you don't want to use them as your punching bag. Your dog sees you are sad, he come to you to cheer you up. When you are boring, the dog will want you to play with them by annoying you. Sometimes your pet will show you his or her feeling with the sound he make, when he is making sad sound, that means he want something or he is sad. When he is barking very angry, that means something he might not like or something is annoying him, so animal do have feeling and we just have to discover them by treating them well.

Journal Entry 26: Game Character

            For my game, my main character will be 4 skillful general. They are send to find the cure of the zombie infection. Four of the character are John, WK, Kevi and Steve. John came froma normal family. They send him to army school for his entire life. He became a general and he got great skill. WK came from an army family, his family treat him tough and train him when he was really young. He became 5 star general and had super great skills. Kevi came from a rich family, but his skill wasn't as good as John and WK, but he donate money to us on weapon and armor.Steve's parent dump him in the army  camp and the soldiers keep him as their son. His skill is great too, but sometimes he will be depressed when someone talk about family stuff. John is very serious man and he always carry a pistol when he fight a war or etc. Sometime he will be picky on his weapon, because he use only pistol, he would never carry other weapon. One time he was save by WK when he was going to died, because he didn't know that his pistol's ammo is gone. WK has no expression on his face, he never smile and cry in his life. He is good at using sniper and rifle, one day he saved John and they become best friend. Kevi never fight in war before, but he build his own training camp that there are animated enemy for him to practice. He wasn't good at using weapon, but he was good at technology which solve lot of problem during the fight. Steve is a funny person but when remind him about he is a orphan. He will be very sad and depress, sometimes he will cry. He is good at driving, he could almost drive everything on the earth and fix any vehicle on the planet. He is a best engineer who can have. In the game there are lot of conflict, sometimes they even argue about something certain stuff, but in the end they solve the problem and beat every thing.

Journal Entry 25: EMERGENCY!

            The time I had a emergency was when I was first grade. The accident didn't happen but it was about to happen. I didn't feel anything that time because I was really young. I remembered that I was going to Japan and I  was in a plane. In the middle of the flight, the pilot use the broadcaster saying that the plane had flied through an air current and we are stuck in the current. Later people start talking about what will happen, I heard someone cried and the fly attendants came a calm him down. After a while of worried, the pilot say again, our plane had almost out of gas and we still trying to get out of the air current. People become more panic and some people run around the plane. I threw up because I drank to much soda and the vomit color was in brown. We finally flew out from the current and we had to went back to the closet airport around our location to fill the gas. We are save, but our trip was delayed and that makes a lot of people angry. I didn't fell any panic because I don't understand what did the pilot said. The other time I had a emergency  was one time there was a earthquake and my house was on the 11th floor, so it's more shaky then others. First I ran around my house and start screaming and I slipped on my clothes and tripped very badly. My father took me and my brother to the safest place in my house and we wait for the earthquake to stop. Every thing fall from the shelves. Lots of things came out and we had to clean it afterwards. That time I was so scary and panic, I don't know what to do plus my butt is hurt.

Journal Entry 24: Setting in Art

            The picture shows a sheep and a guy is behind the sheep. The sheep is eating something, the sheep is color in red orange. The guy is waving his hand in the picture and he is smiling. There is a blue chicken in the middle inside the sheep's stomach. At the background there are some houses and I think the man had a house in his hand. At the top of the sheep's horn, there is two people, there are a woman and a kid. I think the the man is working and he is thinking of his family. The color of this picture were color very cold, because the back ground are almost color bluish gray, but except for the main object of the picture. The man's face, the woman and the children and the sheep and chicken were all color in warm color. I think the drawer try to show us those character in the picture. I think I can feel very cold if I was in the picture because the weather is scary and it's dark all over the place. I think the man seems happy because he is smiling.You might smell animal because in the picture there are chicken and the sheep. I think this painting shows that the man was working very hard and he owns a chicken and a sheep. Both of the animal helps him earn money, and whenever the man feel depress, he will think of his wife and his kids. The painting is kind of lovely because the man is thinking about his wife and kids. That makes him work hard.

Journal Entry 23: Game Conflict

            For my game the goal will be 4 guys who work for government, they are finding cure of the zombie's virus. The last level is when they fight with the zombies' boss. The antidotes was in a lab where the king zombie is guarding. When you play the game, your only weapon is pistol. You shoot and kill zombies to get money and points. Each check point has a  guy who sells gun to you. You will have to use the money to buy and upgrade weapons, and earn points to unlock cool weapons. The higher level you get, the amount of zombie will increase and they will get stronger, so it's very important to get better weapons. In some parts of point you will see special mutate zombie that has some special power, like they can jump high, run fast, thicker life or zombie with weapon too. The boss has more power. When you fight with him, he will call zombies and attack you. Once you  kill the king zombie. You will find the antidotes, but the antidotes was ruin and destroy. You will have to find another way to get the antidotes. At the end, as you finish the game, the town has been cure and people are cheering, but in the street corner. There is one half human half zombie that was not cure and he is waiting to start his own empire again.

Journal Entry 22: Game Setting

            If I have chance to make my own game, my game will want to be a shooting game. It will be third person shooting game. The main character will be Johnson, and people in the game call him John. He work for the government and one day the zombie infection applies. Later in the game John met 3 friends and they become best friend and partner. 3 of the friend call Steve, KeN, and Kay Van. They were send in to a town that was full of zombies. They want to find a scientist lab which has the cure to the zombies infection. The town was full of dead body, it smells like rotten stuff all over the places. The zombies are howling and they want brains, the town was dark and there are fog all over the place. The town was  quite humid and hot, four of the guy carried cool guns with them and there will be 5 levels and each levels had 5 chapter. The chapter will be scene in the story and accident happen in the story. I will name this game " Zombies' Appointment" or " Party in Zomb's home". 

Journal Entry 21: Describe a Place You Know

            The place I want to describe is my room. Once you got in the room, you will smell the wood smell, because the floor of my room was made with wood. The first thing you see when you step in the room was my brother's closet. My brother usually don't close it, so you can also see my brother's clothes. You can see the window was beside my brother's closet. The window wasn't made really good, because when I was sleeping, you can still hear the car noise. The right of the window was my closet, I always close it, because I don't like people to see my clothes. Beside my closet is my brother's study table, he put a lot of things on the table, like food, or garbage. Most food he put it on was all overdue, because he always put left over food on the table. Once I accidently taste one of the food because I was real starving, it test like the mixture of pencil led and the food taste. I got stomach later that night, I hate my brother so much. Beside my brother's desk was his bed and my bed is beside him. My bed feel really comfortable that makes you sleepy once you lie on it. I am happy to have that bed too. By the bed was my door, is where we came in.  

Journal Entry 20: The Influence of Setting

            I think that setting do affect the events in the story, because if your setting is that you are in the desert, the events can't say that the person was drown. It doesn't make sense, that is why setting affect the event. It suppose to match the event in order to make a setting. A setting should include time, place also location, when you have all of this, you pretty much make a setting already. There is a different version of three little pigs that I read, it took place in the woods far far away in the fart land. That is a setting that is not true, but they sue it a lot in fairy tales. This setting shows place and where it happened. My example of a story was if I was deep in the mountain in a cabinet. It was really dark outside and there is no one outside but me and my friends. If the setting was like that, the plot might say that we are attack by mosquitoes in midnight because it's deep in the mountain. That will show why setting and events depend on each others.

Journal Entry 19: Do the Right Thing

            I think that Harriet Tubman doesn't fit the definition of hero, but it has match half of them. She didn't help the slaves alone, but someone else also help her too. Every stop they been the people give them food and warm shoes and clothing. She has lot of good partner helping her on the way to free slaves, except for the first stop, the guy slam the door in her face just because there is too many people. For Barbara Frietchie, she was the person that match the definition of hero. She hang the flag on alone and only her flag is still there, but other people are afraid to do it, because they afraid to get kill. She was brave and do this stuff alone, but no one help her.  Stonewall Jackson has lot of army and he kill lot of people too, but when he see the Barbara's bravery, he make an order that people who touch Barbara Frietchie will died like a dog.

Journal Entry 18: Setting

            The place I would like to be scare and afraid, is that if I am alone somewhere is dark. There are weird noises and it's rainy and snowing at the same time. I feel really cold and lonely. The place I will like to be and it's my imaginary place. It will have beautiful weather and beautiful landscape. I see my best friend are all their with me and my parents. There is also my dream house and the person I love. I can see my best friend invite me to join the game with them. There was also a place that we keep all our electronic, there is no game that cost money. There was a beach too, the water was very clear and there is lot of fish, but not sharks. Me and my friend play anywhere we want and there is no one bothering me. The food was the food that I like to eat and it is healthy. It test like it's made by some master. That is the place that I like to say which it will make me happy.

Journal Entry 17: My hero?

            For me my hero will be my parents. They took care when I was young. They always buy me cool stuff when I need them, but I am not spoil. Once my father give me an iPod because he don't want me to use computer all day. My father hire someone to build a basketball court because he don't want me to play computer all day. All what he did is to take care of me, but sometimes I don't like what he do. Like he force me to go to some class, because he want to improve my grade. He get me lots of books to read because he want me to improve my English. He sometimes don't even let me play computer games too. At the end it's all give me good result on school. Like in summer he want me to take photoshop class early in the morning. I don't like it, but when at PAS some of the tools only I understand and know how to use it. He let me to go to PAS, that is biggest thing that he gave me. PAS is a very expensive school and he let me go to this school, because he want me to have good future, so my hero will be my parents.

Journal Entry 16: What is a hero

            For me I think that a hero is a person that help people. There are many different types of way to become a hero. One of them was a person who had super power and they help people with their power. Most of time, they help them secretly, they don't want people to know them. Other kinds of hero is that they don't have super power, but they help people on many different kind of situation. Like Harriet Tubman, she scarified her life to help the slaves to get to free country. She know that it's is very dangerous to be caught and travel to the free country. I think that hero should have super power and they have good heart. They won't use their power on bad stuff. Heroes could also be smart too, they can solve different kind of problem that human beings have. Like Stephen Hawking, he is very smart and he know everything about space. He solve the problem that people have to the universe. I don't think I never be a hero before, because I am not sure if I help anyone. Sometimes I did help people but I don't think that is heroic.   

Journal Entry 15: Leaving Everything Behind

            I stayed in my grandmother's house when I was born. Later on when I was 2, I move to my great grandfather's apartment. I live their, but I went back to my grandmother's house many times, because I don't have lot of pressure on school stuff. Later on the times I went back become less and less, because I have lots of tutor classes. Since I got to elementary school, I went to my grandmother's house on weekend only. Right now, my parents made a decision on 2010, they are deciding to move back to my grandmother's house, because my grandma and grandpa live alone. My parents want to take care of them, in order to take care of them fast and easy is to live with them. I think about moving back and staying, they all have disadvantage and advantage. I have to wake up earlier than before, because the bus stop became further from me. I also have my comfortable bed, my parents was giving me new one, but I love my old one! When I move back, I can play sport everyday, because we own a basketball courts. I can have my own room, so I can sleep anytime I want. Some of the things for me I still feel sad about leaving them, but I am happy about the new benefit of moving back to my grandmother house. My grandmother's house is repairing right now and now I care about everything in my life now, because I might leave them soon or later.

Journal Entry 14: Why Risk your life?

            In the story of Harriet Tubman, she help the slaves the slaves to get to the free country even she is free already. She know she is going to be hang and kill, if she was caught helping the slaves. She still keep helping them. It's also like Barbara Frietchie, she know that if the soldier see her hang the flag by the window, she will get kill too, but she wasn't. She change the general's thought, it help the country. If it was me, for the way how Harriet Tubman help, I will help depends what life background do I have. If I am poor, I don't think I could help those slaves. If I am wealthy and rich, I can give them help. I will help them by giving they food and water, also a place to stay. It's like a "Stop" when the slaves are going to the Promise Land. The way Barbara Frietchie did, I really want to do it. I will want to do it for my country if there is intruders.

Journal Entry 13: Freedom Fighter

           If I have chance to be a rich people and I could have my own slave. I heard people say they want to free the slave, sometimes I feel slaves are poor too. I decide to treat them better, I will give them good food, good bed, good living environment and nice easy job. People say if a person had good living environment, they are able to do the job better. I decide to treat my slaves better, so they could give me good result from working. Sometimes I will bring my slaves to other country, say it if I had a trip, I will secretly release them too. I could also give slaves food. The law didn't say people could not treat slaves good, so I will give them food at water whenever they need. I might also build a big room, there are food, drinks and warm stove. If I can I will make it the relax place for the slaves that is escaping. If there are people searching my house, I have enough money to have lots of lots of body guards and good weapon around my house. When government people want to search my house. Boom! They died!

Journal Entry 12: To Be A Slave

            One day I wake up, and I was a slave for a rich family. They always tell me to do things for them, stuff like carry heavy stuff, clean their room etc. For my food, I can't chose what I want to eat, but it's enough for me. The outsider hate me because I am a slaves, so me and my friend decide to escape to other country. To start this journey I need to save food for the trip. I decide to eat half of my meal and rest of them meal, I will save it. Days by Days, it will become a bunch of them. Me and my friend escape and we are walking and hiding, so other people won't find us. I try not to eat too much when I was hungry because I don't know how long the journey will go, and I don't know if my food is enough. My friend was caught because he forgot to paint his body with mud when we hide. He was caught and bring back to the owner, he leave the map to me and he didn't tell the other people where I am. I was happy to have a friend like him. Finally I was their, I find a job and it pays fair wages. I save the money everyday and one day I am rich because I buy the right stock. I was rich like Bill Gates. I went back to my original country with 5 Mercedes-Benz and 5 BMW and 200 body guards. I want to find my family and I want to find my friend, I went to the owner's house and I see him working on carrying bricks. I bring him to other country to see his family and give them lots of money. Without my friend, I will never be so successful.

Journal Entry 11: More Freedom

            I think freedom means that you can do anything you want and no one will care about you. I can go anywhere I want, I can drink little amount of beer. I can eat what I want, play computer game, and play sport. I can gamble when it is Chinese New Year. Sometimes I can play what adult can play, like mahjong and poker card. The things I can't do is I can't smoke, drink beer everyday. I can't not eat trash food all the time, like chips,  french fries, McDonald, KFC, and instant noodle everyday etc. If I was addicted to video game, I will get kill by my parents because they don't want me to spend on game all the time. If my freedom were took away, like my computer, my iPod, etc. I will be very angry and I can't really protect it or get it back, because the people who take away it's my parents. I can do anything to fight back, maybe I can hang outside and go home late.

Journal Entry 10: For the Sake of Freedom

            For me freedom means that you can do everything u want. You can choose to do something or not to do it, it means you can make your own decision in life. Freedom can also mean you can do anything you want, no one will stop you. It's like playing Grand Theft Auto, you can do anything you want in the game. For myself, my freedom was OK, I can kinda go anywhere I want to, and buy anything. Sometimes my parents still make decision for me. When I get older, my parents will stop caring about me. My freedom's average is at the middle. If my parents took away my freedom, I might commit suicide, but it depends on how bad is it. If she say I couldn't use computer again, I will be sad. If she say you can't go to school anymore. I will be so happy. When people's freedom were take away, some of them will start fight back. The government send out soldier and police to hurt the people to stop their signing. So freedom could be a happy stuff or dangerous stuff.

Journal Entry 9: If you were Billy

            If I am Billy, and I arrive Bath. I will ask the people that live in Billy about what place is best to stay, I keep walking and I see a beautiful boarding house. I will look inside the boarding house, and I can see beautiful inside of the boarding house, but I don't see anyone. I will leave the house and go to Bell and Dragon, if Bell and Dragon cost too much, I will go to pub and I will drink a lot and have a good sleep. I want to drink a lot because I never drink in a pub before. I can also listen to the music in the pub, dancing with people and meet friend in Bath. Maybe I will really have to live in Bell and Dragon, and it will be safe and expensive. It's not a big deal, because the boss will pay me. If I go to Bell and Dragon, I will be safe and happy, I can enjoy the service in the hotel. 

Journal Entry 8: After The End!

            Billy was surprised when he hear what the landlady said. He try to escape from the landlady, but whenever he run. He can't reach the door. The landlady was walking tours him, closer and closer. When she got to Billy. She said : Stop running it's impossible to get out here without my permission." Billy was force to get back to his chair. Then he said" I'm really tired, may I go to sleep now?" The landlady said" Sure, have a good night. In the middle of night, Billy heard something strange, it's sound like someone is sharpen knife. He went down to the living room. He feel really scare, so he decide to leave the boarding house quietly. When he open the door, the landlady was outside the door waiting. She see Billy and say" What are you doing Mister, aren't you going to sleep." Billy said" he couldn't go to sleep." He went back in the boarding house and sit in the living room AGAIN! The landlady went after him too, when he sit on the chair, the landlady went in to the kitchen and came out with a sharp knife and said. " Now you died!" Billy trying to escape and run around the boarding house. When he got to the corner, he had no way to go, he is going to died.
            "Happy Birthday!!" said the landlady, and a bunch of people came out behind the landlady. Billy feel really scare and weird. His friend were all here, and the landlady was hired to scare Billy. One of the guy took out ten dozen of beer. They keep drinking and playing until the next morning come, so Billy had a really scary and awesome birthday.

Journal Entry 7: Three Pigs

            Once upon a time, there are three pigs live happy with their mother. One day, her mother get angry, because three of the pig eat her dog. She kicked them out the house and cry inside the house for 7 days. The pigs were begging money for a long time. Once they beg for $3000, they decide to share it and build their own house. The first pig brother decide to use newspaper to build the house, because he want to use his money for World of Warcraft games. Then he start collecting old newspaper, and finally he build a house and inside the house was only and computer. The pig keep playing Wow 23 hours a day. The second pig want to build the house with glass, because the second pig think it will be beautiful. He spend all his money on the glass and found out he forgot to make a door, so he use a card board as a door. The third pig decide to make the house with rock. He finds rock from the ground and stack them up into a house shape, he think it was very hard, that no one can break it.
             One day, a wolf  was really hungry and he sees the house of the pig's mother. He knocked the door and say he was a piano fixer. When pig mother open the door, she found out there are no piano in their house, so she was trick and eaten by the wolf. Then he went to the first pig house and look in the window, the big pig is playing wow. He knock the door and ask, anyone who order pizza, the pig was hungry so he open the door and see a pizza in front of him and he eat it. After a while the pig died because wolf put spicy sauces in it. The second pig was decorate his house, the wolf goes to the house and ask. Wolf :" Is your door made of card board". The pig say yes, suddenly the wolf destroy the door and came in with another door. He fix the door and eat the pig. The second pig's last word are, "I finally had a door". Then the wolf went to the third pig house and ask, i am pig mother, are you the third pig, can i come in for a meal. The third pig was happy and invite the wolf in. The pig say he also invite little red riding hood, and her grandmother, he also invite the seven little men and snow white. The wolf feel happy. After the meal, the wolf goes to the pig, I am not your mother I am the wolf. The pig heard it and take his barn shot gun and kill the wolf. The pig take the wolf and eat it as breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The third pig was survive and he live angry forever.

Journal Entry 6: Imagine a Place

            Once I look in to the window, I can see it a big room with some people in the house. There are a beautiful counter that can solve any problem in the hotel. There are a room that connect to the house, and that is the restaurant, the restaurant was built very beautiful. The food was the most famous and expensive food from the world. When I look from the restaurant window, the food's smell was hitting my nose. The furniture was built with gold, and it  was beautiful. They decorate the wall with the famous painting in the world like Mona Lisa etc. You can also find animal in the other room, from the window I could see a bunch of animal from all over the world. There is even a room full of penguin. I will want to go in and stay there, because the decorate was awesome, the food looks and smells good. If I am bored, I can go check out the small zoo in the house. The furniture was even made in gold, I feel rich just sit on those chair. The most important thing was that there are other customers there, so I can talk to them too. 

Journal Entry 5: Advice

            Dear Doctor Johnson:
                          My name is Alfonso, I had a really bad problem about my appearance. I really want to look good at school, so people will like me a lot.  I was afraid people will think I am ugly, because if I was ugly, people will bully and hate me. I had problem with my crooked teeth, in the past I tried to straighten them with my finger, but it didn't work. I was trying to ask my mother for a bracelet, but we had economic  problem, so I couldn't get one. I was trying to work on my hair, but I was afraid to change the color of my hair, so I decide to cut a little bit, and change a little color. When my father came back from baseball, he thought I got hit in my head. I was really angry, so I went to my room. Sometimes I felt I was too fat, so I decide to do some push up and sit-up to lose weight. A few days later I gave up the work out. What should I do to look better, and it won't cost money.

Journal Entry 4: Girls v. Boys

            I think girls sometimes will be very wired, because always like to point to someone and start saying things about them. They sometimes will laugh, or they will do wired action. I think girls sometimes think boy are disgusting, because we are different gender, sometimes boys also think girls are disgusting too. When a boy like this thing, that girls might not like it, because we don't have different thought. People think that girls always immature than boys, it is because girls are very quiet when you see them and boys are very open. The boy talk much, so it makes people think that girls are more mature, but actually when girls is open. It is a disaster. Boys like to play together, but girls sometimes will make into two groups and they say bad things to each group. That is an argument that only girls have. Before I had a friend that like hang out with girls and he likes to talk about gossip with girls too. I had seen girl are very manly, they hangout with boy and play with them usually. I sometimes talk to girls, but most of the time I play with boys in the class a lot of time.

Journal Entry 3: Popular or Intelligent?

  The advantage of being popular is that people always care about you and they will hang out with you too. People like you so they give you always give you interesting thing too. It actually means you are famous in class, but people sometimes will talk behind you because they are jealous about your popularity. They will start making fact commend about you and spread it and make you embarrassed. Intelligent, you can basically know anything about school work. That can make you popular because people ask you a lot of question about homework and you can answer it. It makes people like you because you help them. The sacrifices people make to fit in is that you might disobeyed your parents and go out with some friend that actually don't like you. It end up hurting your friendship and your parents hated you. Being unusual is quiet personality stuff, because if you are unusual, people might think you are wired and they might talk or hang out with you a lot of time. I think at school I am fit in because people like to hang out with me. I like to make funny comment and jokes that makes my friends laugh, that is how they hang out with me. I think if I have choice choosing the smartest, popular, athletic, best looking. I will chose best looking and athletic, because if you can play sport well, people look up to you, plus that you have very good looking. People will admired you a lot.  

Journal Entry 2: Teen Feeling

            I think teenagers will think that their grade was getting low, and they might failed the course. They think they will fail, because they might not make good work for teacher to grade. They might yelled by their parents, and they might commit suicide. They also will think that they won't go to good college because they have bad grade. The better college you go, the better job you get in the future, people worried about what college they will go and lost hope. They will think they didn't get a great job or the job that pay a lot. They will think in the future they will live in a card board box or etc. They will think that if they don't look good, the girl in their class won't like him. It will make him sad or something, they might not get a girl friend in the future or not even married in the future. Sometimes appearance are important, some teenagers like to touch their hair when ever they see mirror, it because they care too much about their appearance. Also your family background might be the thing that most teenagers worried about. They might think that if they are not kid from rich family, their friend won't hang out with them. They will think that the kid that was born poor, they will not hang out with them. I think teenagers should just be normal, be a student, don't listen to what other people said.

Journal Entry 1: Introduction to Me

            My name is Ken, in my family I have my parents, my younger sister and big sister. I look like my mother, because a lot of people say that to me and my mother. I was kept in my grandmother house when I was young, I play around the farmland a lot of time. I was a fast runner when I was young, but I get worst because I start focus on school work and have no time to run. I really like to play sport, so my father build a basketball court in my grandmother's house and a badminton net. Then I can play sport when I get home, my father also buy a X-box in my grandmother's house, so when it was rainy, I can play it. But I have very less game, so it getting boring every time I play it. I try to convince my father to buy more game. I am not sure where I want to go, because I really like Taiwan, I don't really know my future, because I haven't plan it yet. I don't know where should I go in the future, maybe my parents will plan it.
           The reason I am doing the Blog, because it makes it easier instead of writing, because typing is way faster than writing. I write it because our English teacher want us to write it to improve our English or etc. Someone ask me if I like the blog, I would say that it equal, because it easier and faster, but you need computer and Internet to do it. I still don't know why teacher want us to type things on blog.
