Journal 66: Real American

I think the girl doesn't have much to prove she is a American, I think if you want to prove you are a country's citizen. You cannot just say you have that country's passport. For me I think if  one of your parent's is American, than you are a true American, because you have American blood flow through your body, I am thinking this way. Some of our classmates think they are American just because they have a American passport. I don't like that because their parents weren't even American. From the poem, even the girl try hard to prove she is American by saying she like hot dog. She doesn't know how to use chopstick. That does sound like American, but her look was not close to American. When she say that "When the first tomato ripened, She'd missed me". I think that means that she is going to somewhere which will stay here for a long time. The person is sad because no matter how hard she tried to act like American, she just won't pass. If I have to prove myself I am a Taiwanese. The first thing I will say is that I look like Taiwanese, and I can speak Taiwanese. Also I have Taiwanese passport, and my parents are Taiwanese, and also I love Taiwan, if anyone insult Taiwan, I would be very piss. That is what I think I am a true Taiwanese.
